school, your eyes are getting green

My school isn't the best, but it's too expensive compared to some better schools. Let's say, my school (pe*a**r) is pretty famous. I don't know what they're thinking in their twisted minds, 9th graders have to pay school fee until June. In June, 9th graders is ON FULL HOLIDAY and we DON'T GO TO SCHOOL, even just for a day. What kind of regulation is that? Seriously schools, your eyes are getting green.

Plus, what kind of culinary teacher who corrupt student's money and tell her students to search for recipes in the internet?

My question is: what's the use of that teacher in front of the class if she doesn't help us on cooking?

She even can't be called a 'teacher' or 'educator' because she doesn't educate! During the class, what she did, she only yelled and got angry to us for no reason. And I'm still curious on how she can be a 'culinary teacher' since she can't cook at all. The greater thing and the most annoying thing is the last examination. Some students had to cook steak for examination and the teacher told us that we have to prepare 7 portions of steak including veggies and fries. This is an examination, ma'am, not a feast. My friends and some of the parents got furious. Plus, during the examination, the teacher got mad at my friend: (well, technically, she wasn't talking with mad intonation, but obviously, she didn't respect our effort.)

Teacher: T, Student: S

T: (looking at my friend's steak) "The size of the steak is way too small. Why?"
T: (melihat wajan berisi daging steak) "Dagingnya kok kecil banget. Kenapa?"

S: "The butcher cut it this way. But the meat's weight equals 1 kilo."
S: "Emang uda dari sana-nya seukuran gini bu. Ini aja beratnya uda 1 kilo."

T: "The standard weight for a piece of steak is 200 grams. Times 7 equals 1.4 kilos. Very disappointing."
T: "Berat standard per porsi kan 200 gram, dikali 7 jadi 1,4 kilo. Mengecewakan banget."

S: "Ma'am, my mother got angry for buying this much meat! It was expensive!"
S: "Bu, mama saya udah marah beli daging sebanyak ini. Kan mahal!"

T: "Oh so your mom talked like that? Tell her to face and talk to me!"
T: Oh jadi mamamu ngomong begitu? Sini, suru dia ketemu saya!"

For me, there's no reason for the teacher to talk that way, especially the last sentence.

I believe there's a lot of good teachers out there, but some teachers aren't so good like her. And I'm pretty happy, I don't have to deal with her again in culinary class *yippee!*
